
Little island Galevac, also called Školjić is just 85 meters from Preko village, surface of 30.000 m2 and it is one of the samllest islands of Zadar archipelago. It's thick pine forest make sit an oasis of beauty and peace, and with it's natural beaches offers you relaxing time on the Island. In the middle of the Island there is a monastery and little church of St. Paul from 15 century. Iti s the smallest inhabited island of the Adriatic coast and true example of traditional arhitecture.
Island Ošljak, surface of 0,34 km2 with coastline of 2 km, is only a half NM far from Preko. Iti s the smallest inhabitant island on theAdriatic sea and it has preserved landscape from 1985, where olive, pine and cypress trees surround it's rocky beaches and coast. Also an example of traditional mediterranean architecture. There you can find old fishing port and little church of St. Mary, dating from 6th century. This is one of the most pittoresque villages on Adriatic. The island is connected with ferry line Zadar- Preko.
